The star has given an interview to The Guardian revealing she was told to’shut the hell up’ by Reitman on the set of the comedy I Love Lucy.
In it, she tells the paper: ‘He’d be like, ‘I love Lucy’, and, ‘And, I love Lucy’, and I’d turn to him and I’d go,’
‘He’d be like, “I love Lucy”, and, “And, I love Lucy.” And I’d go, “Shut the hell up,” ‘
According to Ms Faris, Reitman refused to allow her to re-cut dialogue scenes in order to better the film.
She adds: ‘He’d be like, “I love Lucy,” and, “And, I love Lucy.” And I’d go, “Shut the hell up,” ‘
She claims the legendary director of My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Bad Santa and The Golden Girls never got the opportunity to direct a full film with her, as she could only offer him her one scene he wanted her to perform.
According to Ms Faris, Reitman asked her for her greatest fear, that of death, to be a part of an episode of Charlie’s Angels before he agreed to let her go on their set.
